52 looks turned into 52 new ideas for men worldwide involved and distant from the industry. Loewe puts an element of surprise into each one of their looks; whether it be around their innovative baggy leather overalls or ditching the undershirt for the hot summer months and letting the chest breathe.
Creative Director, Jonathan Anderson, inserted himself onto the runway for the final look of the evening in his starkly different outfit compared to the rest: a t-shirt and jeans (contradictory to the elaborate designs of the sweaters, one-pieces, and blazers of the show).
Optimizing colors this next year is how he predicts men will step out of their comfort zone, along with leaning towards different lengths and shapes of clothing like jeans and tops.
Starting off strong, the first look set the bar high for the remainder of the show with an all-over black glitter suit. Complimenting the model’s ginger hair, the suit is declared the “best of the best” by Editor-in-Chief, Hannah Beil.
