Old-fashioned Car Craze Never Ends

Scroll through pinterest or take a long drive- you are promised to come across an eighties, seventies, sixties, even fifties style car. Many underestimate the power the four tire powerhouse holds. Sometimes it’s just the beauty that captivates people, not even the function. One could care less if the air and heat does not work, but when they see the structure and colors of a past car it is undoubtedly already theirs in their mind. Just in 1886, the first car came out and sent the world into a new realm. Arguably, life would never be the same.

Few people are lucky enough to find and afford the car of their dreams. Sometimes it’s almost impossible to fix up a car that you see great potential in. But, a lot of people spend most of their free time or even lives doing such activities. Passion for cars can be considered a lifestyle for a select few. It takes motivation, being money-savvy, and understanding the ins and outs of cars to be able to provide proper care to an aged car.

Cars go beyond just a material item that people fill with pride and money. They are a part of every state, country, continent’s culture. From the way they are designed to what they exactly were built to do, there are so many meanings behind the vehicle. A lot of the time cars come from all over the world because there are so many styles built that some nations did not think of. For example, household names like Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, etc., are all originated in other countries. America simply witnessed the model and said “we need it!”, so that is exactly what happened. We bought models and millions of cars overseas and brought the culture from Germany into America.

You may or may not be surprised at how many people invest in cars. The industry is one of the most desired fields. The amount of time people spend on the specific passion can equate to and go over the normal forty hour work week. Now, that is not surprising if you know or have ever seen the inside of a car. Intricate parts work together so delicately to allow the vehicle to function. Achieving a quality car takes time, effort, and devotion. Similar to any other passions one may have.

Thinking about the total amount of money one possibly spends on purchasing, renovating, and maintaining is a little frightening. A car weighs on average about 2,871 pounds, and that is the average four-door. Every pound of that needs to be taken into consideration when buying a car and juggling the idea of whether or not you can take care of it. You may find this surprising that some people just like the idea of buying cars and not using them. Collections range from the normal one or two cars to 286 stored in former late-night talk show host,

Jay Leno’s, garage. The celebrity’s car collection remains one of the largest and most well-known. Due to the fans curiosity of how he uses and takes care of all the vehicles, a television show, “Jay Leno’s Garage”, came about to show off his decked out garage. With a total of fifty million dollars spent, he takes pride in each one he owns.

Usually the average person is not too familiar with every part of a car, but we can tell that one may be appealing and intricate. Many use cars as a form of relaxation whether you want to admit to it or not. You turn on your favorite music, let the air from outside rush in the windows, and let the roads lead you to new adventures and experiences. Cars are so much more than a necessity, they are a form of love. Heart and soul goes into creating the most lovely designs and picking out specific colors to match everyone’s various desires.
