The one where the roommate takes the role as a cover star in the May issue:
Grace McCabe, May’s greatest addition and newest face of ÜP, has been a long awaited guest. Sharing a wall with Editor-in-Chief, Hannah Beil, she surely gets a sense of what the behind-the-scenes looks like. This time it was her turn to be dolled up and in front of the camera.
Being “dolled up” is not a rare occasion for McCabe as she references her strong femininity. Especially when she is “done to the nines”, or when she pulls “big hair, big hoops, and long, fake eyelashes. When I feel beautiful and put together is when I feel the most like myself.”
Never has the Editor-in-Chief met someone that has the “commitment to her upkeep and beauty” like Grace, as discussed during a review of the issue.
If the model were to pick up a hobby in the meantime she confidently knows it would be to start jotting down thoughts again. “I truly love to write, especially when it’s for myself and no one else. Fun fact: I actually used to journal almost everyday on a blogging website. I still sometimes post on there, but not as frequently.”
Let’s just say McCabe were to make an auto-biography one day, or someone wrote a biography on her fascinating approach to life, she already knows the sentence that would stain the first page.
“This might sound bad, but I think it would be ‘The life story of the most unhinged, yet put- together girl you would ever meet’.”
She understands how these years are precious as a fresh twenty-year-old. Knowing how to fix a maintenance problem is just as important as knowing how to host a crew of people and spruce up a margarita while jamming to music from previous generations. That is an encapsulation of what McCabe provides, her value moves people to comfort.
