14 Years of Blake Lively at The Met Gala

Co-chair, Blake Lively, set the tone for the night with a grand entrance and her muse, Ryan Reynolds, by her side. Quite possibly, Hollywood’s most admired couple, Lively and Ryan Reynolds, understood what “Gilded Glamour” meant and how to execute it.

One minute she is walking the carpet in a soft, rich pink, then the next she has an ombre moment with a shiny mint-green bottom. Even her gloves took a sharp turn; from copper to mint green.

With a handful of assistants by her side, she was able to pull off the copper bow and unveil the surprise.

We don’t know what we loved more: the dress transition or Reynold swooning over his wife?

For her fourteenth excursion on fashion’s most anticipated night, she knew what she needed to do to keep it fresh and keep the world on their toes. She is the first guest to ever make one outfit into two separate entities.

Versace pulled inspiration from the Statue of Liberty; the monument is 305 feet of gorgeous layers of stone gown. Art decos and crystals are the two elements of the designer dress that deemed her one of the best dressed at the charity.

As a co-chair, you can only imagine the amount of effort she had to put into the logistics let alone her own presence. The actress brought everything we needed for the night.
