You may have heard his chart topping songs, seen him on Kylie Jenner’s story, or hanging with Jaden Smith’s MSFT group, but Harry Hudson is a name that rings a bell in most people’s minds.
Born June 2nd, 1993 in Englewood, New Jersey the 29 year-old star migrated to Los Angeles, California at the age of four and his passion for music followed. Inspired by Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Bruce Springsteen amongst others, Hudson penned songs and music from an early age. After befriending the likes of Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Hudson became close with Jaden and Willow Smith, soon affiliating with the formation of Smith’s MSFTS collective group.
At the age of 20, Hudson was diagnosed with cancer. The journals that Hudson kept during his recovery influenced much of his music today. Starting with a single in 2014 “Learn 2 Love” and 2015’s “Treatment” EP.
After signing with Jaden Smith’s MSFTS/RocNation label, Hudson hit the scene with an album named “Yesterday’s Tomorrow Night” which was followed by a 17 minute film adaptation titled Can Cowboys Cry, filled with visuals depicting the lyrics. His single “Yellow Lights” , a piano melody, reached the Top 10 of the U.S. Viral Charts.
Hudson sold out his first headlining show in Los Angeles, California in May of 2018. After appearing at summer festivals, opening shows for Justin Bieber and collaborating with Gnash and Jaden Smith, Hudson released his most recent album titled, “Hey, I’m Here for You” in 2020.
Harry Hudson’s musical success has no end in sight, as he is set to release an album this year labeled, “A Deer in Headlights”. Until then, we will be enjoying Hudson’s candor Instagram posts and song sneak peeks.
