Alicia Keys Honors Female Creativity With Moncler At “The Art of Genius” Presentation

Moncler serves everyone from art, design, entertainment, and music to sports and technology. Eligible collaborators like Pharell, Jay-Z, Rick Owens, Sahele Bembury, Palm Angels, and Mercedes Benz are just a select few of those who created a product with the innovative minds behind the brand, including current Chairman and CEO, Remo Ruffini.

Being that it is 2023, fashion shows are upping their production through elaborate sets mimicking gardens (John Galliano Autumn/Winter 2008), space (Hermès Autumn/Winter 2009), amusement parks (Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2012), simple objects like paper (Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter 2012), and darker metaphors in the form of coffins (Thom Browne Autumn/Winter 2012).

2012 may have been the year of successful elevation for creative directors, but now with a virtual world, far greater opportunities are in favor of designer’s and their limitless boundaries.

Dior made a life-sized board game to present their Spring/Summer 2022 collection; they even called in the octogenarian expert, Anna Paparatti, an Italian artist who utilized her own work from the 1960s to demonstrate the “absurdities of life”.

Rejina Pyo welcomed guests into a natatorium for her Spring/Summer 2022 womenswear show. Ending the show with a heavy-splash, she brought in Team GB divers to bring unexpected action to the Olympic pool.

Needless to say, Moncler invited the illustrious voice and soul that is Alicia Keys for “The Art of Genius” presentation that took place at London Fashion Week. Her voice alone made the presentation a milestone for how shows operate creatively. Soul vocals like the Grammy award winner are convincing enough to sell out a collection itself. Enhancing that built-in superpower of the artist, she was styled in her 90s inspired iridescent long zip-up and pants with a charcoal gray crop top lined with rhinestones. The collection is loud, just like Keys’ influence on expanding female creativity.

Her synopsis: “Last night, we did it for the ladies!”

An under-the-radar status always keeps fans on their toes. So, when she announces a project, album, or concert, we are all begging for the arrival date to come faster.

Moncler Select Project, Keys’ work of art two years ago for the new digital ambition started by both her and the brand, serves as a luxurious platform for the elite in each realm to choose pieces from collections over time. She got to see her work in action on colleagues and two years later at a show in the UK, a place that revolves around fashion and fashion’s deeper meaning.

Installation spaces organized the work of the mentioned celebrities earlier; such as, Pharell’s glamping looks and Rick Owens dedication to all things winter (jackets and puffers galore).

Ruffini summarizes the presentation of all collections from celebrities and brands in the past in the following statement: “Today, creativity is fluid, different worlds interact and they inspire each other. And that is where you find Genius.”
