All the way from England, United Kingdom, we invited the cover star, Louis Spicer, now a United States college student, to interview and photograph for the March Issue of 2022. You heard that right, a young English man. If you can already imagine, this interview is intriguingly eye-opening and his input in the interview remains thoughtfully interactive.
There is more to Spicer that not many may put together; including, a talent in street photography, a keen eye for soccer, and on top of that seemingly bold presence, an intimacy with fashion and dressing quite dapperly.
Once again, Beil introduced a new face to not only her editorial, but her life. The two only knew each other quite briefly from a mutual connection. But, she insisted on having him a part of ÜP the night after they met. “I went back to the mutual connector the next day after meeting him and told her that I asked him to be a part of an issue,” Beil explains, “he just had a tone to him that screams who I want my editorial to include.”
“Pitching the concept of this March Issue felt like Sunday morning,” Beil describes, “He instantly affirmed my potential vision for these photographs.”
