Description
This issue served many purposes: a reunion between two long-time friends, a list of lessons to consider before entering your next relationship or a mindset to implement even if you are in one now, and the sweet spot for a summer birthday.
Getting older means adapting, and in this sense we’re discussing how to adapt to the new ways to celebrate yourself. It is far more than a number at this point, it is about what you did to get to this age.
For our cover star, Keishla Rodriquez, she is gearing up for her roaring twenties. A decade that could not equate to any other. One where you fall more than you succeed, but each bump in the road leads to the reason for it all- that sigh of relief moment.
In the words of the sweetest cover star, she is a “super cut and dry person” when needed. With an upbringing that called for a child to protect her heart, she sure made it out on the other side. “The only thing” she can think of is that people are unaware of this part of her story, but as most would wish for such a wholesome woman, she did not let it dictate the rest of her days. “I’m a very bubbly person but also very real and blunt. If you knew my life story you would be shocked because you wouldn’t expect it. I think a lot of people really underestimate me and I think it’s super funny when I prove them wrong because it’s an eye opener for them.”

Question: What makes you most excited at this age?
Answer: “Just living life to the fullest, I love going out with my girls and dressing up, it makes the little girl in me jump and scream with happiness. Same with my future, this is the time where we can mold our future with our friends and celebrate the little things. It’s fulfilling and exciting; it’s the start of adulthood for sure which is the exciting yet scary part.”
Speaking of getting ready, our cover star shares her hair product treasures- all four of them.
