Summer Fridays and Rhode Start The Year of Beauty Off Strong

Lip oils and pineapple cleansers, what more could we ask for from two of the most purchased beauty brands in this modern world of entrepreneurship and brands?

When there are hundreds of brands rolling out and at our disposal, it is a simple rabbit hole for consumers to get overwhelmed. The difference with Summer Fridays, founded by Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Ireland, and Rhode, founded by Hailey Rhode Beiber, is that they keep the drops unique.

Whether it is the creative direction of the Rhode PR packaging or Summer Fridays scents, there is always something to be sitting on the edge of our seats for- the creativity is boundless.

Way back when the Jet Lag Face Mask launched for Summer Fridays, the female founder duo took a one-hit wonder to its maximum potential with a massive following and mutual love by all.

Their lip glosses were the next “must”, and will always be with their wearability and long-lasting formula. However, here comes the lip oil hot and heavy- nearly breaking the internet with Lana Del Rey’s SKIMS campaign for Valentines Day.

A lip oil is meant to be less thick, more glass-like. Spring being just around the corner, we will find this light-weight product in our purse more often than not.

How fitting that the lip oil is deemed the “Dream Lip Oil”? Hewitt and Ireland work to make everyone happy with an arrangement of colors to choose from. They have subtle nudes to dark cherry reds to rich chocolate browns. This current drop includes four different shades: Pink Cloud, Blush Dreams, Soft Mauve, and Rosewood Nights. Each is carefully produced to “glide on like a dream”.

As for Hailey Beiber and her Rhode skincare, she also centered her latest new product around the warmer months ahead. Pictured on the beach with a yellow color scheme, scuba-diving equipment, and Candice Swanepoel, Beiber cleverly promoted a ‘Pineapple Refresh’ face wash.

Bath bombs have not disappeared yet! For the highly anticipated PR package reveal, Beiber brought back the idea of bath bombs to life- including a surprise product once completely dissolved in water.

Leaving the skin bouncy and soft, the PGA cleanser is a balm-to-lather style with a unique texture to melt into a lush sensation.

A new dreamy lip oil and a new pineapple cleanser remind us just how close we are to finding some more sun and how to prep!
