Description

You have not seen power until you’ve seen three women who are unstoppable in one room; woman, Amen. Grace Goodwin, Sophia Bronico, and Elle Lynch share their past and present with us in this year’s May Issue.

Whether it’s being the only female in the gym lifting weights or dying your hair a color you have always wanted to or drinking wine on the beach, these three cover stars know exactly what life offers and how to live out their potential.

This season is about showing off your tweed and textures. Goodwin wore a short, baby blue dress with a detailed-ribbon lining between the straps. Bronico stunned in a powerful two piece set with simple white denim jeans and a light purple, oversized tank top. For Miss. Lynch, we put her in an A-line midi-dress that screamed summer from Zara.

With Mother’s Day approaching so quickly, make sure to tell your women how much you love them; all the ones that made you who you are today. And, in honor of all the moms out there, the May Issue will be on sale on May 8, 2022- mark your calendars to be a good daughter, aunt, mother, son, grandma, etc.. Every woman needs to read this interview.

Grace: “Without women, we wouldn’t be here. Simple as that. “Women are the backbone of society; their existence allows for the existence of all. So why isn’t this sentiment reciprocated? Why can’t women exist in peace when they are the true creators of life? I’ve tried so hard to define womanhood but it’s almost impossible because it exists within everyone, men and women alike, and everyone is so different in their own way.” She has spoken her truth, and frankly, the truth. We are all hints of everything and everyone in our environment, so take care of your people and things by embracing each other and the love we have to offer to one another. A woman’s love is something that leaves us feeling whole and heard. Goodwin is a testament to this loose definition of what being a woman means.”

Sophia: “If the gym is where I feel most empowered, then who is anyone else to tell me that that is unfeminine. Feminism is so specific to each individual because every woman and girl may feel like their most confident self in many different ways or doing many different activities. To me, recognizing these differences and appreciating them is how I can support my fellow women in redefining feminism for themselves.”

Elle: She finishes up her interview by telling us her commitment as a cover star for the May Issue was “very out of her comfort zone”, but “in the best way possible”. We’ll tell you why: “The dress that I wore was not something that I would normally pick out for myself, however it pushed me to confront any fear of judgment. In the past few years, I have struggled a lot with my changing body, and photos have become something that I often feel ashamed of. Like so many other women, I can easily fall into the habit of harsh criticism of my appearance.”

You would not believe the way these women quite literally carry each other in this issue. The support, the love, the affirmations! This one gets you thinking.
