When we think of creativity, we have to talk about where Rowan’s feet have stepped and marked. Florence Fashion Week was too close to home, literally, in reference to her dad’s new home in London.
She lists, “The fanfare, the glamor, the bubbling excitement as the clock winds down until showtime, the painstaking work of creating a collection the world will adore or despise, and the sensation that time just stops as these stunning models take the catwalk — all of it impresses me and has me craving more.”
Her next step into her fashion-focused career: NYFW!
Highlights from this year’s biggest event in the industry- after a whopping 75 shows- are Thom Browne giving his partner a heart-shaped box of chocolates at his show’s finale, Chloë Sevigny opening for Proenza Schouler, Lindsay Lohan supporting model siblings at Christian Siriano, designers drawing inspiration from icons like Joan Jett (we’re talking about L’agence and Tara Rudes Dnan’s new collection, specifically), and Diplo’s cameo on viral cartoonish footwear by MSCHF.

“I do everything in my life with the intention of feeling bliss – give me more stomach-aching laughs, more gorgeous food and drink, more all-night dancing, more world traveling, more soul-tie friendships, more deep love; I yearn for all of the life I can possibly take. I feel like I’m finally ready to enter the most beautiful chapters of my life. And I just want it all.”
She brought it all for the October issue.
Rowan laughs with the Creative Director, “The instant Hannah had me face down on my rug, then under it the next, I was like – oh god. But nobody makes me feel safer or loved than her. I trust this girl’s vision unequivocally.”
“But I didn’t want that worry to translate on camera. I wanted this issue to be so wholeheartedly me. When people see this edition, I want them to see me for who I am. I want them to see Hannah’s beautiful, mind-bending, hard work and heart on every page. I’m so thankful to have experienced this alongside such a good friend. I’m so happy I’ve had the chance to let everyone in on a little piece of me.”
