Description

If we told you how quickly this May issue came together, you might not believe it. The only way it did make it out in due time is because our newest cover star in the family, Ava Bronder, met the Editor-in-Chief so professionally it was impossible to slip through the cracks.

Our ocean-eyed girl, featured in striking desert-inspired looks, has a sweet spot for the business of fashion herself.

“I personally love sharing my opinions, thoughts, and advice with others on all topics. I recently started writing blog posts (which I have been slacking on publishing regularly),” she opens up about her new passions, “As of now, they are catered towards fashion and lifestyle but I do hope to speak on other categories in the future and be able to use it as an outlet for thoughts.”

Bronder’s advice on how your own side hustles, if you will: ‘When you know, you know’ and ‘It should never feel like a chore’.

What summer will this be? Last year was “brat”, is this one “nostalgia”?

“I typically do not feel nostalgia in the summer, but this year may be different since I am going in with the mindset that this will be my last ‘free’ summer before starting full time.”

Maybe it’s more so for those in this transitional phase of life or really anyone in their twenties, but there is always so much change happening.

Summer seems to be a time that provides recurring emotions of childlike experiences: getting late night ice cream, swimming all day long in some body of water, or celebrating the longer days with cookouts and impromptu neighborhood games.

This time around feels somewhat like that- do you think so?

We are seeing a “Martha Stewart” revolution, especially around gardening and cooking.

Megan Markle, Pamela Anderson, Nara Smith, and so many more creators of the home are focusing their attention on slowing down and going back to the roots.

Are you meeting them there this summer too?

So many conversations to be had!
