For our cover star, life is just starting. “Recently, I made a shift in my life to just simply start living more and doing things I would do in the past every now and then that brought me joy more often.”
When she looks back, her focus was never centered around who she was inside and what that meant for her quality of life. She adds on, “All my life, I’ve been someone who is constantly working, getting good grades, and going above and beyond, yet I still never felt like I was doing enough. There’s so much more to life than working and checking all the boxes society wants you to check. I’ve made living a priority and know I want a future with a good work-life balance.”
Personal experience will always be the most provoking lesson.
“As a woman entering adulthood, it can be difficult to decipher between who I truly am and who others expect me to be. I yearn to find myself and to grow into my independence as a strong, brave, and confident woman. Right now, I feel as though I am in a state of confusion with still trying to figure out who I am, what I want to do, and what my purpose is.”
